Corgi Bf109G-6 Hermann Graf Working Range

While looking at some new releases, I saw the following listing at DiecastAirplane

AA34908 Graf BF109 Red 1 (1:32) July 2008 release

Bit of a surprise since it was listed last November as being cancelled

I received this response from Steve:

"Yes, this model is now back on the schedule. One email I have from Corgi says March delivery and another one says July. I'd be more inclined to believe July, but wouldn't place too much of a bet even on that, but hopefully it will actually be produced."

Great news as this is one I've been waiting for.

Now, if we could only see a re-release of Erich Hartmann's Tulip nosed 109G "Karaya 1"...I'll be in Cloud 9!

That is so true!!

Re: Corgi Bf109G-6 Hermann Graf Working Range

Here's hoping that this one sees the light of day. I would love to have it displayed next to my Corgi Hartmann (black and red tulip together). I saw the Graf being advertised at JoePilot.com for $112.49 with a Feb 2008 release. Not a bad price.

This is one I have been waiting for for a while now and was upset when Corgi had cancelled it.. It is great to hear it is back on the schedule!!!

Re: Corgi Bf109G-6 Hermann Graf Working Range

Forgive me if this has been covered before, but can you display these on their gear, as well as on the stand? Does the engine come off like the normal 1/32nd scale birds? Working flaps and rudder? I've never picked up one of the "working" birds but this looks really sweet.

Anything for a weird life.

it's not the illustrated aircraft, but Corgi did Hartmann's "White 1" tulip nose in 1/32 some years back. i believe non of hartmann's birds had the JG52 shield logo, just the karaya heart of iii-staffell. i understand they're tough to find, though.

However, i have to display mine on the stand. the landing gear on it gets on my nerves The Graf JGr. 50 will be nice if they correct the canopy...
