Re: WWI Bombers anyone?

I don't have the model building skills to justify spending $89 on a kit, but I'd LOVE to be able to buy some WW I bombers in diecast (or plastic, for that matter!)

Yeah -- gotta agree. My patience, eyesight, and accuracy aren't quite up to all that rigging and mucking around with the braces of the second wing. (No -- not an age thing -- I've just never had the ability to execute a WWI aircraft properly!) The odd thing is, why would we want these in a diecast form? The originals were fabric, wood and bits of metal. I have to agree that plastic may well be the better choice.

I think a line of well-done WWI 1:72 bombers is overdue.
