Re: Bf 109E AA32109 dropped off by Postman

Postman stopped by today and dropped off another Corgi Bf 109E. Plane dropped of is an AA32103 Messerschmitt Bf109E-3 Waldemar Wubke, 9/JG 54 "Grunherz". Nice looking model and the only thing odd with this one is the wheel well interiors are silver. Wheel well color kKind of odd, but overall I like it. Corgi does put out some nice looking Bf 109Es

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

I do like the Corgi E models CC.
I have this one in my cabinet, I must say Corgi made a fine job with these birds.

God Bless America.

Corgi does have a nice Bf 109E, I wonder if there are any plans in the works for future releases,

I hope so, there are plenty of schemes to do.
Corgi did a good job on these, for such a small plane they packed in a lot of detail.

I even have a couple of their 1/44 scale versions and although I dont buy 1/44 as a rule these were so good in fact I think outstanding, I just had to buy them.

To be honest I had an idea to hang them from the ceiling, starting with a Corgi 1/32 then behind that a 1/48 then a 1/72 and after that the 1/44.
The idea being to give the elusion of a flight of 109s zooming in , unfortunately Lorraine said I was having "Delusions" and no way was she going to have the ceiling covered in zooming 109s buster !!!!

Oh Well it was a good idea though short lived.

God Bless America.

Here is hoping for more Corgi Bf 109E models (and hanging models from the ceiling).
