Re: Bf 109E AA32109 dropped off by Postman

I have 17 109's so far and plan to add more very soon!

I like the Bf 109 too. This month I will add 4 more to my collection, and like you, will keep picking them up when I can.

Re: Bf 109E AA32109 dropped off by Postman

corgis 109s are great.....apart from the knobbly legs, always have mine in flying mode

1. All the pictures in this thread shows how much we love to show off our 109s! It really is a great model.

2. Those knobbly legs (present in all but the most recent Corgi WWII fighters) is why I bought so many Legends types. I can set them on the shelf without fear of falling (the model, not myself) and without the guilt of using glue...the result is that the only models in my display cases are Legend, Witty, Easy Model, and four Matchbox on their tilted stands.

Hey Tank, where have you been?

I could not bring myself to buy an Me 109 last week, however, I still recognize the need to have one.

What should it be? I have easy access to Gemini 109's including Galland. I can get at some Corgi.
What's it gonna be?

Nothing beats redoing a BF-109, either fully or partially, in my book.

Nice looking Bf 109 collection you have there. I have to try and find one of the IXO 109s for my collection.

Nice looking Bf 109 collection you have there. I have to try and find one of the IXO 109s for my collection.

The IXO BF-109G-10 and the rarer K version aren't bad at all. One problem, however, is a mistake on the canopy. In both cases, they provide a frame on each side at the rear that shouldn't be there since these are supposed to be "blown canopies". I fixed my models with some careful sanding and Future polish to get them right.

I like them all! I wonder if there are any new Gemini Bf 109Fs in the works. Something new, and without a yellow nose.
