I own this 109 and it is truly a great looking bird. IMHO, I think it is one of the best looking 109E to date. Beside, you can NEVER have too many 109s or 190s or Ju87s or......

Or too many Ju 88s, He 111s, and Bf 110s. Sure would like to have a few Dorniers too.

Post Re: Bf 109E AA32109 dropped off by Postman

Postman dropped off a Corgi Bf 109E AA32109 today. Over all it is a pretty nice looking model, not sure if it is my favorite Corgi Bf 109, but still pretty nice. Picked it up off of Ebay last week, and kind of surprised at how quick it arrived. Looks like folks at Corgi took a hack at some weathering on this one. There was also the desert variant AA32108 also was up for auction. Happy to pickup the one I did for what I felt was a fairly reasonable price. I have picked up a few Bf 109s lately.

Nice capture CC

If I may be so bold, below is a photo I took of some of my Corgi 109Es, with the CHC AA32109 version up front. The Corgi 109E is definitely the best version, and the CHC is at least equal to the best of those. I've also included a comparison picture between the Corgi and Dragon versions of the E -- the Dragon version has an odd "tall fuselage" look. Also, I will be buying the 109E coming out this year -- NOT buying a Corgi 109E would be unthinkable!!

The AA32109 Oberleutnant Ludwig "Zircus" Franszisket is a real gem. As far as my favorite Corgi Bf 109E goes, well it would be a tie between it and the US32110 Wk.Nr:5819, Oberstleutnant Adolf Galland model. You can never have enough Bf 109s though, kind of like P-40s.

Wow! Didn't know there were so many of us...if I had to get rid of my collection, the 109Es, P-40s, and P-38s would be the last to go...an "out of my dying hands" sort of thing...or maybe clutched to the chest...cannons and 50s blazing...

Same here, currently have sixteen 1/72nd scale Bf 109s (8 Bf 109Es, 3 Bf 109Fs, and 5 Bf 109Gs) plus two 1/48th scale FM Bf 109s. Do I see myself getting more 1/72nd scale Bf 109s, the answer would be yes.
