Re: How about a CAM ship Hurricane?

I have to pipe in and say that this would make a great mould. I'll add thei to the wish list of things I don't think I'll ever see.

You never know,

Its another chance to make a few bucks out of an old mould just by adding a launch rail.

Corgi, hello are you listening, dont forget to weather this one.

God Bless America.

They did make a diorama for the Catalina and the one Gladiator, would not think this would be completely unrealistic project.

Might it stir some interest if several folks put in this suggestion to the folks at Corgi?

Re: How about a CAM ship Hurricane?

Well I just received an email from the folks at Corgi in responce to my suggestion of the CAM ship Hurricane idea. This is the email responce I received:

Dear XXXXX

Thank you for your email. I shall pass your suggestions onto my Head
Office on your behalf for perusal when considering new models.

Thank you for your interest in Corgi.

Kind Regards

Emma

Not sure if it will ever come to light, but at least the suggestion was passed on.

Re: How about a CAM ship Hurricane?

I was wondering that if enough forum members put in suggestions for CAM Ship Hurricane or a Ju 88/Fw 190 Mistel, if it might possibly get some wheels turning. I have sent in suggestion to Corgi for both these ideas.

Here's an interesting bit on the Hurricat on YouTube. The audio is way out of sync with the video, but still worth a look...
