There's still quite a few British planes that haven't been made yet. Hopefully a Vickers Valiant is in the works.

Yeah but the wings might drop off.

(reference to the problem with the main spar).

You're dead right Cruver. Just felt like giving you all a cold shower Seriously though I'm looking forward to some goodies but I don't have any inside info I'm afraid

How about that Float-plane JU-52 from 2007? Seriously though, Blenheim MkI, Beaufighter, P-61, D-Day C-47.

Talking Re: What Will Corgi Give Us For The Second Half Of 2008?

Isn't it the same thing?

Not really. Guessing what Corgi might do is a bit different than me guessing what I might like. At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter -- besides -- I really like wish lists and polls!.

How about 1:72 glider replica's like the British Airspeed Horsa, the American Waco CG-4A and the German DFS-230?

You beat me to it! I agree 100%, to include C-47s and C-46s in OD.

And since we're on the topic of the 'speculative wish-lists' . . .!!!

I would like to see the 'pooch' go forward with finishing up the RAF Bomber Command with an introduction model of:
• Short Stirling
• Blenheim Mk I (have I mentioned this already???)
• HP Hampden (have I mentioned this already???)
• Armstrong Whitley
If I had a wish, it would also be to see Corgi start a 'Pre-War' section of the Aviation Archive. To make it simple, we're talking U.S. aircraft that were often silver and 'great ideas' but not always the 'great performers' at that early stage. We have a few -- but are missing many more. Digging up the thread 'Wright Field 1941 pic!!!!' would yield some outstanding additional input to that -- not to mention that photo. Wow! (See thread and full-size image here)

Just my 2¢ worth.

All great choices, and if they did some Pre-War issues, I would want a Bristol Bulldog and maybe a Fairey Flycatcher too.

I'd second that, for sure. What good is it to have either a Bader Hurricane or Spitfire (or both!) without a Bulldog? That just completes the picture entirely. Given how well Corgi has done the Gladiator series, this shouldn't be an issue. I'm actually waiting for the release of the Shuttleworth 2-blade prop Gladiator. What a stunning RAF pre-war item that will be in my collection.

I hear it on good authority that we ALMOST got the DH 89 Dragon Rapide. Almost.
