P-38 Pudgy

Now why is this one a Warbirds release? I would've preferred a wheels up/down release for this bird. I mean the pilot did earn a CMH.

Shawn, that was my thought exactly when I first saw the Corgi catalog! I'm gonna buy it and pry the gear covers off and use the wheels from one of my other Corgi 38's (Poop Snoot model perhaps?). Can't go wrong with the Pudgy since it's only $19.99!!!

I agree, the Graf Fw 190 was to nice of a paint scheme to land in the Warbird series.

Re: P-38 Pudgy

Life is long (I hope) and maybe someday another company will make one of these with all the bells and whistles. I can wait.

The 190 was mentioned as a disappointment too. I agree. The Pete Brothers Hurricane takes the cake for me though. For cripes sake, it's on the cover of the Osprey Hurricane book. I just don't get it.

Re: P-38 Pudgy

Tell me, JP, Is the Warbirds version of the P-38 any different from the AA version, other than the lack of up or down landing gear? Looks the same in the pic.
