Ouch

Slow night.
I just went through the Mules site checking what 2008 Corgis I want.
totals:
15 models
retail price: $980.00 before taxes.
Avg price: $65.34.

Then there is CW; HM; and Gemini.

That's just the 1st six months

Hope we see some good sales and my local store has lower prices.

Of course the good thing is we will not see most of this stuff when it's promised.

Re: Ouch

My problem is I pre-order so soon, by the time the model comes out I have forgotten if I pre-ordered it or not.

Re: Ouch

There's probably a body part or two that you aren't using. You can sell those to pay for diecasts.

Re: Ouch

I understand. That's why I stick to WWII fighters.

Of course, there are those B-17s, and the B-24s, and the B-25s, then there are the Vampires, the F-86, the MiG-29s, oh, and the He 111s and Wellington, the F-104J, and the A-4, and all those 1/400s. I won't mention the waterline ships. And then there are the toy soldiers, packed away in the closet.

Re: Ouch

Tell me about it! I've already pre-ordered the two big boys: the Lancaster and the "Friday the 13th" Halifax.

'tis the Eder Dam 617 Lanc. Though I REALLY want the POTR Lancaster...It's not the price of the bird that's turning me off, thought it is steep, it is the price of shipping to the US that's killing the deal. But I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want that POTR. Decisions, decisions!
