Re: Ppm B-24

That is a nice B24

And they are great partners

Even Skunky will have to admit these two model angles make the B-24 look good !!!!!! Tricyle landing gear and wicked nose turrets............

Re: Ppm B-24

I'm always amazed at how many great models there are that I do not have. Only 1 Lib in my collection and it's RAF. I outta room but really enjoy looking at collections with different themes. I like both of the Libs and Stangs in the picture below but own none of them. Thanks for posting.

Re: Ppm B-24

Yeah Parsig I only have two myself the RAF one and the SB and love the schemes on both not the prettiest bird but i like the rugged look of the Liberator it just says I may take a pounding but I'll get the job done and be back tommorrow for more. Those two Libs in the picture are very nice schemes but alas the Space issue

No Corgi messed up on the nose. If I recall correctly the glass was removed and sheet metal was replaced to replicate the nose. Either way its as butt ugly like Dragon And His Tail.

Strawberry Bitch
Ball of Fire III
Pistol Packin' Mama
Sleepy Time Gal
Dugan (ex Michigan)
If Corgi ever does some real 8th AF birds I might be in trouble.

I will admit to that, ayuh...Every true warbird diecast collector needs to have at least one Libby, ....homely as she may be.

(but you're never going to get me to say anything nice about those Corgi "Mustangs", Art...so you can just forget it)

Re: Ppm B-24

For Strawberry I'd suggest Jerks Natural or Ball of Fire III, atleast thats the way I chose to go.

I couldn't agree more. Similar to you, I have Strawberry right next to Jerks and Ball of Fire III. All are excellent examples of 8th AF B-24s.

The only thing I will disagree with you about is the Dragon and his Tail. Dude, how could you not like that That is one awesome looking B24. Now if your problem is the Corgi gaps then I understand.
