Post Corgi Spares

At the beginning of the month I contacted Corgi for a set of replacement undercarriage legs for a Bf109, I have just had an e mail from the "spares administrator" at Corgi Helena Smith telling me yes the parts can be supplied at a cost of £3 inc p&p so it looks like the end of free replacements

Smile Re: Corgi Spares

Nimrod,

I had talked to my CORGI Distributor here in the US just a few days ago about any spare CORGI parts, and we here have no one to contact now at Corgi. Would you have or could you get an email address for this Helena Smith at CORGI UK, if so I would like to have it, as I have tried to get some parts for stock items with no success. Thanks in advance!

Re: Corgi Spares

£3 Nimrod? And you're local. Does that mean £5+ to the U.S.? Good grief. Better be careful with those Corgis and especially used ones...... and buy more Hobby Master.

Don't forget the targets are my airfields, Leigh-Mallory, and you're not getting fifty, you're not even getting ten.

Hey, Nimrod-
I'd like this information, too, if you have it. I've been waiting on a spare Spitfire wheel for some time now with no response from Corgi. Thank you!

Angry Re: Corgi Spares

I wrote a letter to Corgi asking for a new aerial for my Messerschmitt 109 and that costed £3. And I told them that a was a young collector!

Relentless money-grabbers!

It was Helena Smith who replied to my letter. At least I got a fairly quick response though. (Although its probably because I live not far from Leicester)

Who are MoMo and Jim anyway? Do they have a tendancy for snowing in young collectors with junk mail?
