Re: Corgi Spares

Nimrod,

I had talked to my CORGI Distributor here in the US just a few days ago about any spare CORGI parts, and we here have no one to contact now at Corgi. Would you have or could you get an email address for this Helena Smith at CORGI UK, if so I would like to have it, as I have tried to get some parts for stock items with no success. Thanks in advance!

Okay, just got off the phone with Corgi concerning my tokens for Halifax (which are confirmed btw), then I decided since I had this guy on the line I'd ask about who to contact to replace a missing 32 scale Hurricane engine cover. Turns out the person I was talking to was also the same person handling replacement parts too. To make a long story short, he took my order, checked the computer for aircraft model & part, said it would take about 2 weeks, gave his name and asked that I contact him if I had any other issues with my Corgi models.

Seemed like a pretty nice guy (considering I called him right at 5pm Chicago time) and pretty legitimate considering I gave my name and he had my shipping information without me telling him. Guess I'll just have to wait to see if I get my missing engine cover!

Anyway, I guess you fellas want his contact information so here it is(sorry I didn't get an email address because I was surprised that I'd be successful in even talking to anyone):

p.s. B/C I'm the selfish bastard that I am......don't everyone flood him with requests because I don't want it to affect me getting my Hurricane engine cover!
