Re: What are your favorite Corgi models?

On a side note, 2 under 2? You are a saint. I thought a 5 year old and a 2 year old were challenging....

First, apologies for the hijack, but I was compelled to respond ....

I'll see your 2 under 2, and raise you a 4, 3, and 1 month old - that's a full house!

Re: What are your favorite Corgi models?

My favorite Corgi has to be the Flying Mule Exclusive P-51B "Shangri-La", the third in the Don Gentile Series!

Oops - Martin is gonna kill me for letting this slip out!

You gotta know it's gonna happen next year, right? What with the first 2 Gentile planes, I gotta think that Martin some how has the rights to the Shangri-La plane as the next (or near future) FM Exclusives. It only makes sense to me. Anybody disagree?

Re: What are your favorite Corgi models?

For me the top one is my McKnight Hurricane. I received that and my FM 190 in the same shipment, which was my introduction to Corgi product. Not a bad way to start huh?
For all the talk about other companies, Corgi has (even more than Matchbox, which I had the entire run of before I started anything else) fueled the collecting bug into some fairly scary territory. There's just so much great stuff to be had! If they can keep up the mold quality to some of their later efforts (B-25, P-40, Gladiator), and get their QC and time-tables in check, they'll continue to be my brand of choice. Not that other companies aren't making great stuff, but if I have a choice between a Corgi P-38 and a SBD from HM or another Fw from Draggin', I'm going to choose the P-38 most of the time. If the other two come out with a P-38, then I'll be willing to negotiate.

I don't like reggae. I love it.
