Re: I Pimped My SE5a...........

Thanks for the review, Louie. I have this on order with the Mule, anong with P-38 Marge and an Albatros which apparently is not in yet. Really looking forward to them. Glad to know it's better in person.

As far as pics, may I point out that your mentioned "tomorrow" is today!!!

Re: I Pimped My SE5a...........

I picked up this baby today at Gerry's shop in Sanford with my man Louie. It's a great model and I have both of the SE5a's out now by Corgi. Both are very nice. Billy Bishop is a 2 blade prop version whereas the other SE5a has the 4 bladed prop. I recommend both of these.

These pictures aren't good. My camera used to function better so I thought. Hopefuly you can see what a little imagination can do for your Corgi model.

Re: I Pimped My SE5a...........

Louie ,

You added a nice touch to the SE5...... May have to pick up an extra, and follow your process in pimping it out !

Thanks for sharing the PICS.

Re: I Pimped My SE5a...........

Thanks Louie for the ideas and photos, much appreciated

How much larger is the SE5a as compared to the Gladiator or Swordfish?

Side by side comparison picture please

Re: I Pimped My SE5a...........

I like these Corgi Se5As. The new Spad looks pretty good too actually. Little chunky on the wooden supports (spars?) but overall ok.

Good pics on the DAF right now. Check it out.

Nice job Louie. I would probably do everything except the weathering on tires and exhaust but I have not seen it in person yet.
The step, grill, gun. prop hub....all look much better.

Don't forget the targets are my airfields, Leigh-Mallory, and you're not getting fifty, you're not even getting ten.

Re: I Pimped My SE5a...........

Very nice job, Louie. And, I agree, the prop doesn't look TOO bad, and greatly enhanced with your improvement.
