The TSR2 is the aircraft I desire above all others in 1:72 scale & apart from a Duxford or Cosford anti flash version I would accept a couple of "what if" schemes which for me would be 617 squadron & a Raspberry Ripple A&AEE version.

The TSR2 and SR71 are really cool birds. Even with just one scheme it may be viable given the demand for them.

I'd throw in the B-58 Hustler with these choices. The drawback would be one scheme, natural metal.

Re: Hey Corgi.. How 'bout this one..

I think the only realistic way we are going to see any of these exotic planes come to the die-cast market is if we get a company such as Altaya/IXO to release them in a collection.

Altaya/IXO has consistently made brave choices in bringing lower profile warbirds out in both their fighter & bomber collections.

An extreme performance series comprised of both operational & concept planes such as the purposed XB-70 escort fighter the XF-108 “Rapier” would be amazing.

Avro Arrow
BAC TSR-2
XB-70 “Valkyrie”
XF-108 “Rapier”

A-12 “Oxcart” with D-21 (Drone)
SR-71 “Black Bird”
U-2 "Black Lady"

B-36 ”Peacemaker”
B-47 “Stratojet”
B-58 “Hustler”

1. Thats a great idea..

2. I like yer thinking!!

I have a IXO Mosquito and it's pretty good.. Infact the WWII birds that they do looks real good.. I plan to purchase some more from them (after I get some of my jets that I want, and after the divorce is over)..

Re: Hey Corgi.. How 'bout this one..

Since there is not a die-cast option for fans of the BAC TSR-2 I got this plastic pre-painted version from Ebay.

Thumbs up Re: Hey Corgi.. How 'bout this one..

If someone would REALLY like a TSR-2 in diecast, you can scoop one in 1:144 from HERE -- for £99. The perfect companion for those with Vulcan and/or Victor collections at that scale.

Talking Re: Hey Corgi.. How 'bout this one..

We only built 6 Arrows, where would the variants come from?

My bad -- somewhere in my head I was still thinking about the CF-100 shots I had just seen. Yeah -- six variants of mainly serial number changes would seem a little nuttz. I still would like at least one.
