| Did Corgi use Witty's MiG-29UB as reference??? LOL.... Just noticed that Corgi's E. German MiG-29 does not have the chaffe/flare launchers. However, the chaffe/flare dispensers were present on the unpainted Corgi pre-pro pics. Looks like Corgi used Witty's tooling as visual reference and, when Witty removed the launchers from their first release-- the MiG-29 UB, the folks at Corgi presumed that the launchers shouldn't be there on any version of the MiG-29 and removed them from the production release of their first -29. EDIT: In Corgi's defense, they could have used the MiG-29M as a reference for the E. German release. Did E. Germany have any MiG-29Ms. Did they exist back then? | |||||||||||||

| Re: Corgi using Witty releases as reference??? Well look what I found on defencetalk.com. Yup... Corgi got the stabilizers correct. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to run to the supermarket to pick up some crow for dinner. ![]() | |||||||||||||
