An Idea for a Future Seaking

Here's an idea.....

With Century Wings slowly working their way through the 'Final Countdown' Air Wing, how about Corgi doing another US Navy one from the Nimitz circa 1978?

Can't remember the squadron - Griffins rings a bell, as does black and yellow trim.

I'm sure it would appeal to the people who are enjoying the CW stuff, the people who perhaps missed out on the earlier Apollo rescue Seaking and people like me who just wouldn't say no to another seaking!

Seems like a no-brainer to me....

Re: An Idea for a Future Seaking

No new Sea Kings in development at present ,though it would be a good scheme there are a few others as well (HC4),maybe one for Corgi US.

Cool Re: An Idea for a Future Seaking

Being a Retailer of CORGI, the first thing I feel CORGI needs to do is step up the plate and get the products from 2007 and early 2008 releases out to their Distributors. I agree that they should definitely be seaking new items, but they have to catch up with the past and present first. Collectors everywhere are still waiting on many of the items from 2007. Hopefully they will recover from this problem soon!

Yes - Corgi US take note!

Yes, I would love an HC.4 (or two) but as times goes on it seems less and less likely.

Even an HC.6 was poo pooed I seem to remember....

Of the modern era stuff the Helicopters seem to be the benchmark for Corgi, they're all very nice models.

Great idea there raddger. I wouldn't hesitate to own a Seaking helicopter from the movie TFC.

If you like helicopters you will LOVE what is being considered.

Ooh, you tease! We talking liveries or moulds???

Well - I work on the AugustaWestland site in Yeovil with an office looking out of the airfield and live ten minutes from Yeovilton and the Commando Helicopter Force. I suppose that makes me interested in Helicopters!

Of all their modern era models the helicopters are among the best they do and are IMHO some of the best models they make full stop (Seaking and H-60 for example).

Would love another mold or two - along the lines yo have already asked for!

Re: An Idea for a Future Seaking

I do still think there is plenty of scope left in the Heli tools they currently have, even the seaking which on it's 15th version now....

Plenty left to do....
