Re: Free Halifax Deal?

So with the most recent Corgi production/shipment delay news, I was wondering if anyone here knows if this delay also applies to the "free" U.S. Halifaxes? It appears the UK customers have received theirs so I'd be a little hacked off if they delay the U.S. distribution. As it is, Corgi and it's issues have given me reason to not buy from them in 2008. I know Corgi has some internal issues, but IMHO it seems like they feel they don't have to compete for our money (arrogance maybe?). If this is the case then it ain't wise considering there's lots of other manufacturer's who've stepped up their game and put out some amazing models!

I'm rather inclined to believe that all 150 were shipped (and distributed) in the UK, with nothing left for the US. Perhaps a separate model will be made available for US distribution?

Though I read something that indicated the model for the folks in the US would be here by the 20th and shipped a couple of weeks later. Kind of put it right around the first week in April.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

It would be funny if that model was a Hobby Master Mustang...

This would be heartening. I hope you're right.

Does anyone know if this is the way Corgi distrubution is now being done? I.e., the UK receives all of the models from China, then repacks and ships a portion to the US for distribution here? I seem to recall that Corgi previously had the US distribution ship directly from China to the US. Thus we sometimes had items in stock before our friends in the UK.
