Re: SE5a

Thats a nice looking SE5a you picked up. I have quite a few of the Osprey books covering WWII, but have yet to pick any of the WWI series.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Question Re: SE5a

Does anyone think there will more SE5A repaints or is the upcoming 1st Squadron going to be the last one?

There are two still scheduled to be released; No. 1 Squadron (AA37703) and 'Mick' Mannock (AA37704). If they never get around to making any 56 Squadron SE5As, they're idiots.

Question Re: SE5a

LEEG:

I would prefer a 56 Squadron SE5A, particularly McCudden's, because it is not as garish as the blue Bishop and Lewis SE5As and I had an Aurora McCudden SE5A when I was a kid.
I'd like to know how many repaints does Corgi normally do per model, so I can estimate if there is a possibility of more SE5A repaints beyond 1 Squadron and Mannock's.

Re: SE5a

I would like also to see Albert Ball's SE5 to be made as well.

Corgi was taken over by Hornby. No one knows yet what this will mean as far as the Aviation Archives series is concerned. They seem to be determined to deliver the Corgi 2007/2008 catalog, but I haven't heard of the plans for new models or liveries after that.
