New Corgi Release at the Mule

Last edited by hworth18 : 01-22-2008 at 02:29 PM. Reason: removed commercial links
Just saw these on the Mule website:

East German MiG-29
Corgi AA37501 - Diecast Model MiG-29 Fulcrum East German Air Force JG 3, Vladimir Komarow

Indian MiG-29
Corgi PR99416 - Diecast Model MiG-21 Fishbed Indian Air Force 8 Sqn, Poone, 1971

S.E.5a Billy Bishop
Corgi AA37702 - Diecast Model S.E.5a RFC No.60 Sqn, Billy Bishop, Summer 1917

Plus others. The MiG-29 didn't turn out as bad as I thought, but I'm still favoring the Witty version. The S.E.5a looks nice...

Re: New Corgi Release at the Mule

Thanks for the Heads Up on the S.E.-5. Time to place an order.........

Does anyone know why the Flying Mule cancelled the A-4M Skyhawk from VMA-214 ? I supported that squadron between 1980-82 and had my heart set
on getting this plane. Any help feedback would be appreciated.

Regards,

Mike

Mike,
Martin @ Theflyingmule had posted that he just didn't receive enough pre-orders to justify making this and other "specials" that he had planned, so he cancelled them..

Re: New Corgi Release at the Mule

Thank You very much for the information. I guess I'll have to wait for the VMA-311 Skyhawk. Your knowledge is greatly appreciated..

Re: New Corgi Release at the Mule

The third Halifax with the desert scheme is also shown along with a cracking FAA Hellcat and Avenger. I can leave the Halifax as I have two already but the FAA birds are a must have

Re: New Corgi Release at the Mule

The FAA Avenger is something I'll pick up but it is disappointing that the Hellcat is the same bird that Easy Model puts out since I have the plastic one already. For those who don't do plastic the Corgi is welcome but I don't see enough value in Corgi to pay for an upgrade.

I also like the 3 tone Dauntless. Where is the Warbirds P-38 though? I want one of them.

Also of interest is the two bladed desert Gladiator though I am willing to wait to see if the price comes down on that one.

Re: New Corgi Release at the Mule

I really like this mold with the exception of the huge gap behind the canopy. The lack of weapons on the hardpoints doesn't bother me but I am going to wait for a Russian paint scheme.
