Strawbery Bitch: What's a good price?

After the embarrasment of having purchased a 1/144 B-17 while belieiving it was a 1:72, it appears that I still may be able to come out a winner from this whole ordeal. The seller said i could purchase something else from him in exchange for letting me out of the purchase obligation for the b17. He has a Strawberry Bitch B-24 and it comes with the box. What is the average price for this model? What is a good price for this model? What is a great price for this model? All your help is truly appreciated!

-propellerhead

p.s. what is a good price for a Franklin Mint "Tondelayo" with no box?

Strawberry Bitch is a great looking B-24...A year ago you would pay a over a hundred for it on eBay now it seems you can get one under a hundred.
I picked up a Strawberry Bitch around October for 79.00 BIN and it was mint as mint can be.

Re: Strawbery Bitch: What's a good price?

I would say between $75 -$100 for the SB, but I have seen them go higher and also sell for less depending on the market...

Re: Strawbery Bitch: What's a good price?

I paid $150 for my SB 10 months ago when they were "scarce" only to see several hit ebay a month later for $80. I'd say now $100 is probably realistic. As for the FM model, $35-45??

Well I just reached an agreement with the seller.

I am now the owner of the "S Bitch" and will pay $70.

A little more than I wanted to pay, but it's better than the alternative (a 1/144 B-17 for $50)

Also, since the seller is only minutes away from where i live, i can just pick it up and skip the shipping and handling!

Thanks for all of your help guys!

That is good deal you got there for a SB B-24 and happy the seller did work things out with you.

$70.00 for the Strawberry Bitch is a steal. It's a really nice bird and one that you will want to keep on display and always find room for. Congrats.

Anything for a weird life.

Re: Strawbery Bitch: What's a good price?

A very satisfactory outcome I would say.
I paid around $100 for mine.
The SB is beaut, its the only B24 I have, mainly because I dont have the space for big stuff.

God Bless America.

Re: Strawbery Bitch: What's a good price?

Great deal!!! I paid over $100 when it wasn't easy to find. Its second only to the custom B-24 I re-marked. Careful, you'll soon want a stable maye for it, and Ball of Fire III is a good choice.
