Re: Send us your Corgi model suggestions

What is WASTED is knowing about this then NOT doing anything about it. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. My constant harassing Corgi in the past has gotten my one of my prize models in my collection and I still have the correspondence to Robert Hinchcliffe (Product Manager) to prove it. I say: Perseverance pays off! Work 'em any way you know how.

Which plane was that?

Re: Send us your Corgi model suggestions

Which plane was that?

Canadian Pacific Airlines Bristol Britannia 1:144. I was in contact with Robert for slightly over two years about this and he eventually agreed to do it in a very limited run (1300) but not as limited as the TCA Super Connie.

Below is one of the emails during our correspondence:
Dear XXXXXX,

Thanks for the e-mail. The Canadian Pacific Britannia is one that I
definitely intend to do at some stage. We are currently resting the Civil
range and plan to relaunch next year with a splash and I will definitely
consider this for the range then. I hope that offers the necessary hope.

Regards

Robert Hinchcliffe
Product Manager
Inside 4 months of receiving this note, they announced the aircraft.I was pleasantly stunned. Never say never!

Re: Send us your Corgi model suggestions

I have suggested the He 115, and the Ar 196 as an alternative...
Wait and see...
