Re: Corgi AA35508 1:32 Hurricane "Night Reaper"

Sorry chaps, this is not going to help you but I can confirm that IMPO this is the 1/32 Hurri to have. After a very shaky start, the 1/32 Hurri has come good with its final (at least for the forseeable future) release.

Selling rather well in the UK which is a first for the Hurri and I am picking mine up in a week or two. The £/$ exchange rate makes it a very expensive buy for those in the US and with the hopefully short term fog that seems to have descended over Corgi US, I suspect there will unfortunately be limited options available for our American cousins ordering it.

Someone on DAF has posted piccies of the Hurri beside the 1/32 Mossies....don't look if you want to resist it!

I saw that pic! I jumped right to Tri's site to take a closer look at that Mossie; then I jumped to Perry's site to check out the price: $159.00. A very expensive set! But, they look AWESOME sitting side by side. Thanks for the feedback on the Hurri, Red2.

Re: Corgi AA35508 1:32 Hurricane "Night Reaper"

My Night Reaper Hurricane arrived today, shipped from Flying Tigers (UK). I am happy to report the model arrived VERY quickly; well packaged; no issues. It is absolutely beautiful, easily one of the best releases of the year! If you are thinking of obtaining this model, I highly recommend Flying Tigers.

Re: Corgi AA35508 1:32 Hurricane "Night Reaper"

Well, I decided to treat myself and purchased the Night Reaper Hurri from Tiger, then went to Perry's and just finished ordering some heavy metal. I have the Moncton Express and the Attack by Night 1/32 Mosquitos on there way.

Well... Christmas brought a new XP desktop and a new Canon EOS Rebel, so now I am equiped to do it. But... Mrs. E has me so busy re-doing the girls room (AND I MEAN RE-DOING, IN A BIG FASHION... UGHHH!), I hardly have time to peek at MHII. Oiye! I hear her know: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING DOWN THERE!!??"

Stay tuned, I will get around to posting pictures, hopefully sometime soon. But, you can check out CFBC's beautiful pictures on DAF (the UK forum)... much better than I can do anyway!
