Re: Corgi AA35508 1:32 Hurricane "Night Reaper"

I am eager to see Tricatus post some pictures on his site... not sure if he will, no pre production pictures (no mention whatsoever) of the model has yet been posted.

Check out these pictures:

This looks like a heckuva beautiful model; the more I look at it, the more I am falling love with it. It does not appear U.S. vendors will have an opportunity to offer this model. If one wants it, one will probably have to source it from the UK. For those interested, I posted a vendor and price in the "good deals" section.

That is one sweet-looking Hurri, for sure, but $200.... I dunno if my addiction runs that deep...

Elmer, sometimes a plane comes on the market and you just gotta have it.

I know how you feel, the GMP P40 Texas Longhorn had the same effect on me, all sense goes out the window and you just have to dive in.

I think that the more you have to pay the more you appreciate what you bought, it sort of makes it special.

Go get em boy.

God Bless America.

Come on Elmer, you know my addiction is at least as deep as yours :-) I do have 20 or speccast models, afterall -- and several GMPs I paid full MSRP for... then there's that Merlins Over Malta set, and BOBMF set.... I'm trying to draw the line, is all

This does look like THE 1:32 Hurri to have -- and I do dig the larger scales, but unless I do some serious selling, I'll have to pass on this one most likely.

(On the other hand, if I could locate one of the new BOBMF Lancs I'd probably find someway to scrape up the cash... see, there is no hope for me.)

I know what you mean, Jim. I feel that way about the Hartmann 109 and the Lane Spitfire. I paid more than $180.00 for the Lane Spit; another $20.00 for this beautiful Hurri model is nothin'! After all, it is only money.
