Corgi B-52s are very, very nice. See picture (granted, doesn't show detail, but anyway, gives you an idea)...FVD

Cool photo, 2 of the best B-52's.

I have both the NASA B-52/X-15 and the Operation Iraqi Freedom B-52 and like both. I REALLY want to find Diamond Lil, I mean she shot down a MiG and is a definite must have! One thing though, they are freakin' huge!

I've got this one coming next week, looks great! I like the way you've got these displayed JP -- I've done the same thing with a B-29 and B-17 and my Castle B-52... really puts the awesome size of the B-52 in proper frame of reference. I used to think a B-17 was big....

One thing though, they are freakin' huge!

... not compared to a 1/18 F-16. Or even a 1/48 B-17!

They compare in size to the 1/72 WW II bombers, actually slightly smaller.

Nice little collection of Boeing bomber history.
What are you opinions on the Dragon B-17, just curious?

Re: Corgi B-52 - opinions from new collector

I have both AA33502 (Diamond Lil) and AA33507 ( Kincheloes's 449th BW), but after read Osprey's B-52 Stratofortress Units in Combat 1955-73, I'd love to get a B-52F from 320th BW, 454th BS "Mekong Express", a mix from these two Buffs with a silver coat and flat black underside, plus a rack full of Mk-82, as Diamond Lil.

It looks a little better then Corgi's B-17 but i think the nose area can be improved a little on the Dragon bird.
Since this picture i have a Corgi B-17 Memphis Belle in it's place...with Dragon's props on it...I could not stand looking at the Corgi
props they were so out of scale with the Belle...
Looks much better now.
