Re: Corgi announce Friday the Thirteenth livery.

What I meant was of all of the Halifaxes, Friday is probably the most famous. Friday is the most famous Hali, The Belle is the most famous B-17, and S for Sugar is the most famous Lanc.

My apologies MD. I re-read your post. In hindsight, it appears I got carried away and in my haste, I simply ran off at the mouth. NOW I see what you were saying. Yup I agree. And to my esteemed colleagues here, sorry for the tempest in the teapot on a quiet Sunday morning.

Trust me I know the importance of the Belle, as I helped move her to The NMUSAF.

Yes, and I've seen the photos you've posted re: progress. I have to admit, I am a fair bit envious of your situation. The closest I've been able to get to the legend is the recent book by Robert Morgan. Darn good read, too! I highly recommend it to anyone here interested in this fellows career with the Belle (and beyond). Quite the character, indeed!

That's what I'd like to know too! Has anyone in the UK received their "Friday" Hallifax yet?

Cool, now we can scoop up all the A -7's F-4's and F-8's that are coming before that.

There's some unspecified talk/rumor going on in the DAF that this and most of the 08 catalog might never show up due to crunch issues with the hound.

Ooops!

That does not sound good, wonder what releases might be postponed or even possibly cancelled.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.
