HALIFAX B.III RAF No.578 Sqn Cyril Barton **PICTURES**

I got my Hailfax today and she is really sweet #31 of 2210. I really like this one a little more then the 1st Halifax because i love the 4 machine guns on the top turret alone.
I had both of them here this morning side by side and both are really great looking (Sorry no side by side pictures wife had my camera this morning)and my Dad took the 1st release Halifax.
This one will keep me company until "Friday the 13th" to comes out...Hope it has the correct markings too.
Enjoy the pictures.
JP

Very nice JP. I prefer the glass nose to the turret. I may have to pick one of those up eventually.

Cheers for posting the pictures Starman,

I'm sitting here 'dribbling' over this 'cracker' (mouthwatering !!!!!!!!!!!)

Looks like I'll be paying full price on this one........ rightly so, as it's GORGEOUS !!!!!!!!!!!

Ironic though, as it will (no doubt) cost more money than my 'Black-Cat' & 'Sullom-Voe' Catalina's PUT TOGETHER ¬!!!!!!!!!

I never expected that the 'Barton' Halifax would look THIS GOOD, so it's a 'must-have'

Nice looking plane SM! How'd you get it so fast? I didn't know that it'd already been released.

That's nice. I'm going up to store tonight to pick one up.

On way up to store with a buddy I changed my mind and decided I would buy the B 11 and wait for Friday The Thirteenth.
As I walked in a guy walked out with what turned out to be the LAST B 11. Bummer.
Store only got half shipment on their order, rest will be in next week.
Toyed with idea of picking up CC Wellington for $80.00 but settled for a couple of Easy Model P51D's instead.
Store still has B111 Halifax. So I wait until next week.

So how many times have we done this 'Mk II version -- no, no -- Mk III -- no, no -- Mk II' dance of the tormented, eh? I've done this so much over the last few weeks it has driven me to near distraction. Your last minute decision is very likely where I will go as well -- depending on the final markings, of course.

The shared human experience. Never ceases to amaze me.
