I got the B.Mk II version a few days ago...
Excelent looking model. WOW Corgi did it again...
The B.Mk III version looks great too.
So many differences from the B.MkII variant.
It looks like a brand new type bomber.
I'm going to get this one as well.

The Barton Halifax arrived today. This is a 'cracker' IMHO. The four gun upper turret,smooth nose with the Vickers K gun, and the Hercules engines seem to me to be the epitome of the 'Halibag'. There may be small faults with this model but it does not bother me in the least. Another Corgi success IMHO.

I can confirm that, at a meeting between Corgi UK and representatives of the UK forum some weeks ago, Corgi were handed various photos (inc Jetfan's pics ) of the correct fin treatment and other aspects of Friday 13th and are 100% aware of corrections required. Friday 13th is very precious to many UK warbirds enthusiasts so, rest assured, everything is being done to assist them in getting this release right.

Re the split RAF/French scheme, it was overwhelmingly rejected in a poll on the UK forum in preference to the WW2 scheme.The research has, however, been done on the Elvington aircraft and as such could be resurrected for a future release if demand was judged to be there. Happened to be at Elvington yesterday and the markings are striking but the WW2 version is, IMPO, the guaranteed seller.
