Re: HALIFAX B.III RAF No.578 Sqn Cyril Barton **PICTURES**

Nice pics but because this and the F13th are so similar I'll get the 1st one and then F13th I think. One glass nose and 1 w/o.

Now is when someone will tell me that all 3 are unique and I should get one of each......

Don't forget the targets are my airfields, Leigh-Mallory, and you're not getting fifty, you're not even getting ten.

Re: HP HALIFAX B.III LK797/LK-E No.578 Sqn *PICTURES*

So how many times have we done this 'Mk II version -- no, no -- Mk III -- no, no -- Mk II' dance of the tormented, eh? I've done this so much over the last few weeks it has driven me to near distraction. Your last minute decision is very likely where I will go as well -- depending on the final markings, of course.

The shared human experience. Never ceases to amaze me.

Was realy debating this one as well - Decided to get this one.

Ooops!

timbo is right parsig! the desert one has the Tollerton nose, so if your counting noses, you MUST get it!

Just snap that antenna off of the BIII cockpit - shouldn't be there. (oops, did I say that out loud??)

Ok now you finish what you started about the Antenna.....Where does it go ?
I knew it was not suppose to be on there as well and was waiting for someone to notice it..

Just ordered mine from Aiken's.

Looks like one really nice model, very anxious to see it in the flesh (or should I say "in the metal"?).

Great pics JP. This one looks miles better than the first release. I prefer the radial engines on the Halifax. For those waiting for Friday the 13th, remember it will have French markings on the left side.
