Corgi 1/72 Lancaster

Kia Ora
I am a newcomer to this forum this being my first post. I am from New Zealand
Could anyone please tell me where I might be able to purchase a Lancaster, don't appear to be having much luck so far
The model number and an email address (or phone number) would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Alsopi!

The 1/72 Corgi Lancasters are as rare as the proverbial 'hen's teeth' if you're looking for one at a reasonable price. I would suggest that you try and be patient as there are some scheduled for release next year that should be obtainable at a fair price (and reasonable postage) from US vendors such as The Flying Mule. Alternatively, eBay would be your best bet ...

Enjoy the Forum and watch out for Skunky-Jim .

Hi there alsopi, welcome to the forum

The only place apart from ebay Ive found these is perryaircraft.com Purchased a' Grand Slam' & a 'G for George' myself a few months back. G George & The (original) Dambuster Lanc have reverse camo markings...the painted area behind the front turret should be brown...the Grand Slam was ok

Check out Unofficial Corgi Aviation Archive for the best photos of Corgi 1/72 Lancs and the rest of the Corgi range

Hi alsopi, great to see another Kiwi round here.

Can't help you with the Lancaster request - I had to work long and hard to track down my "G-George". But if you wait, Corgi are releasing a Dambuster Lanc next year.

You don't give a preference.
Someone has already given you Perry's.
You can also go to Modeller's Choice | Hobby Store | Models | Hobby Supplies They have a Dambuster Lanc.

Re: Corgi 1/72 Lancaster

Thanks for the interest and help guys.
I had thought about holding off for the one in 2008 but then I would really like one with a top turret and the 2008 one doesn't have one. Damn!!

Me again. Does anyone know if Perry's Aircraft site is down. Can't get through to it and I have tried 2 Browsers.
Cheers

Also tried a couple for you. Seems to be down. Keep trying you will be rewarded, last time I was there they had a good selection of Lancs.

Hi Ian,

it's still down but when you get to view it you'll find the RCAF Lanc, G for George, the Canadian rescue version and the Sight & Sounds version. The last one is the cheapest at $135 USD from memory & has the top turret.
