Celtic,
On what are the folks on the U.K. forum basing their info?

That was an integral part of the conversation: some people seemed to know where the info was coming from, and regarded the source as reliable. This leaves us with some hope, and at least we have that! (Keep thinking PE-2, IL-2, Yak-3, Yak-9, MiG-1, MiG-3, and post war, maybe even a MiG-15.)

Re: Early info on 2008 releases

Celtic,
Hey there.

That would be very cool . Russian birds are vastly under represented.

Sorry to call you on your/their sources, but I'm always a little dubious of the rumours surrounding what Corgi might, or might not do.

No problem. Every year we go through the Corgi guessing game, and every year Corgi gives us new confusing moves to ponder, and leaves us with eternal questions such as: "Why the heck did they cancel the Holland Fw 190A?" With Corgi, it ain't over 'til its over.

Re: Early info on 2008 releases

I would love a P-39 but not if it wont sit on its nose gear. who ever makes it I will wait to see what everyone says before I get one. I would prefer a Corgi. I will also buy Corgi Russian ww2 props if they make them.

Re: Early info on 2008 releases

While I've learned to be sceptical and pessimistic about Corgi's new releases (as regards both content and dates), the rumours are encouraging.

A proper D-Day stripes Typhoon with rockets is something I've been wanting to see for a long time - and will probably have to wait a long time before I see it - but would be an almost guaranteed addition to my shelf.

The Blenheim would be fantastic news if it's right. I've loved that aircraft for a long time, and there seem so many possibilities for liveries and designs. I would happily make room for both the early and later nose designs, though I prefer the latter.
