| Stand for 1:32 fighters... weirdness ??? Is it me, but when I look at the Bf109, which looks like a great model, the stand included is not the cradle design. Sorry if this has been covered before, but this in and of itself will keep me from buying this model. I even have issues with my 1:72 Tuck Hurricane stand. The plane sags in the course of a day. I have no idea how anything other than a cradle design will keep one of these heavy bf109's safely on display. Also, anyone know where we can buy some extra cradle stands, with out having to go through Corgi UK??? Thx | |||||||||||||

| Re: Stand for 1:32 fighters... weirdness ??? I have had all of the 1/32 109s on display at one time or another with 3 or so on permenent display and I have never had any problems with the stands.. As a matter of fact, the 109 stand is probably the most stable I have in large scale planes.. I use a cradle stand from a Corgi Mustang for use on a 1/32 Bf-109K4 I built and the one thing I don't like about it is that you can't put on the belly tank with the cradle stand.. | |||||||||||||

The same happens with the Pete Brothers Warbird Hurricane, seems to be tail heavy. I ended up removing the soft black plastic thingy & filing down the end of the stand to fit the hole in the fuselage | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Stand for 1:32 fighters... weirdness ??? I've had one on it's stand for 6 months in my office and no issues. I think a cradle stand would cause big issues as it got that belly tank. It also comes with a plug that you can use to fill the hole if not on the stand. | |||||||||||||
