Corgi Aviation Club Problems

Hello all!

I was wondering if any of you out there have had problems joining the Corgi Aviation Club. I have tried TWICE to join and I recieve the initial "we have recieved your application" email, but i never heard from them again. What did I do wrong? I entered valid debit card informartion the first time, and the second time I tried using a credit card, yet they were never charged. Their customer service also blows. Do any of you out there know what might be the problem? Maybe some of you guys have also experienced this. Also, do i apply on the Corgi UK site, or the Corgi USA site? I suspect this might have something to do with it, because I live in the USA and I applied throught the UK site. Or could it be that they are having problems processing American debit and credit cards? I don't see how, but it's a possibility. Any help is truly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Corgi Aviation Club Problems

The CorgiUSA club and Corgi UK club are 2 different entities, each club does its own thing and has its own membership..
If you are having trouble conacting Corgi, I would suggest calling the US office in Chicago and speaking to customer service directly..

Re: Corgi Aviation Club Problems

I tried the UK site about four times, got the "please allow us x days to process" message and Corgi has no trace of any application of mine... Have had some contact with Susan about this, but there's nothing to be found. I have given up...

Can we try with real bullets now?

Re: Corgi Aviation Club Problems

I had nothing but problems with the Corgi USA Club. Got nothing from them EVER in the first year. I complained and was told they corrected all the problems and was given a free 2nd year membership. I got one old newsletter and nothing else. They renewed my membership a 3rd year (without my asking) and again, nothing happened. Oh wait! I did get their Club premium gratis - a model car. Big whoop! Especially since I don't collect them. It went right to Ebay.

Worthless.

AT Corgi UK nothing seems urgent I waited approx 3 months for my application to be processed, only our dear sorely missed Nona god bless her seemed to realise the importance of customer service.

Angry Re: Corgi Aviation Club Problems

Well, apparently, I'm not alone on this one. If there are more people out there who are experiencing similar problems, please elaborate on this thread. I will then send the people at Corgi a link of the thread so they can see how many people are unsatisfied with their lack of customer service. By the way, why would any company refuse money? Stupid, if you ask me!
