Differences in Phantom's SEA camo

Are there differences in the SEA colors tone, specially tan, between Corgi's F-4 AA33204 (Annete) AA33218 (Woodbridge)?

I don't own either model, so I can't comment on the two models in comparison.........

However, as someone who used to visit Woodbridge(Bentwaters) regularly by the runway, when they were operating the
F.4's (C's & D's) in (their 'Vietnam') 'T.O.114' camouflage out of that base, I CAN tell you that the paint on those machines during that operational period didn't fade anything LIKE as quickly as those based in the SEA theatre, or combat zone........

That's due to 'lack of sunshine' in our 'wonderful' weather climate in the 1970's (i.e, ***p !!!!!!!! )

Out in the far East, they would 'bleach' quickly - especially the 'Tan' (F.S. 30219) due to strong/long sunlight exposure !

The (nearby) 48th TFW's F.111-E's carried this scheme, till 1994 (ish) when they were replaced by F.15-E's

I'd love to see a comparison photo of the two (models) side by side

Re: Differences in Phantom's SEA camo

I have all three 1:72s (Annette, Bentwaters, and Robin Olds). The tan on all three is a little different. Annette has a large difference in the light and dark greens, and the tan is the most "tan/earth". The Robin Olds plane has very little difference between the greens and the tan has a bit more yellow. On the Bentwaters, the greens are a little different, and the tan has more yellow/mustard in it. Annette looks fresh off of the factory line, Olds looks faded, and Bentwaters looks like fesh tan and faded greens. The thing I do not like is the all tan seats and crew in the Olds plane.

Re: Differences in Phantom's SEA camo

A more obvious difference is WHITE versus "very light grey" undersides. From what I can tell, I think "very light grey" is correct---same color as current HARM missiles. FS 36622.
