Takes a Lickin' and Keeps on Tickin'

So I'm in my home office yesterday, and my 9-month old baby girl crawls in. I put her up on my shoulders and proceed to walk outside, when on the way, she grabs hold of my 1/32 scale Corgi Night Attack Mossie and yanks it off the top shelf. It goes crashing down 6ft to the ground with a thud.

I worried that my little girl was hurt, but she was perfectly happy if not just a little overexhuberant about the airplanes...then my attention fell to my crashed Mossie. The landing gear panels and engine panels had been knocked loose, and I feared that she would be cracked, bent and battered. I picked the Mossie up ever so gingerly...knowing I would probably not be able to get a replacement, fearing the worst...

As luck would have it, the Mossie made it through without much to show for its violent crash. Just the little clear plastic light on one of the wingtips popped off. I was able to locate it in one piece and I glued it back on.

Amazingly tough, well built model. Solid as a rock, heavy as a boulder.

Happy ending, indeed and thank God your precious 9-month old daughter didn't get hurt.

You have a daughter?

I didn't see that in there. Huh, odd.

What a terrible story. Thank goodness for well built models.......and toy planes too.

Parsig9 thanks for making me laugh.

But seriously, gald the little one did not get scared when the plane crashed. And glad dad kept his priorities in tack.
