I got mine yesterday. I am very happy with it. I especially like that the windows are just that, not painted squares.
And the display stand is pretty cool. Next up, the floatplane version.

This 'cracker' arrived today. The Ju 52 is one of the best models that Corgi have produced to date and up there with the Swordfish, Gladiator IMHO. The only niggling point is the extra large rear MG.
As this aircraft resembles (as far as I can remember) the one seen in 'Where Eagles Dare' Corgi could have made a great diorama with an Alpine scene; cable car heading down with Clint Eastwood & Richard Burton figures!! Corgi might have some snow left over from the 'Finnish Gladiator' diorama !!

I remember seeing after market 1/72nd scale MG 15 machine guns in a Squadron catalogue before. Might be able to replace it with something more to scale.

Thanks for that Cruver. I'll buy three as I have the minesweeper already and the floatplane on order. Two Halifax on pre-order also and no space!! A least my Russian Front shelves look a bit fuller.

Just picked one up today and it really is a stunning model. I was originally intending getting the minesweeper one only but couldn't resist this one.
