I dig the color scheme on this model -- I can just see it skimming the waves on the prowl for some unlucky shipping... The crew figures are quite nice too, they are metal, pretty well detailed and give a bit of life to the static nature of diecast model displays.

I agree with you Pappy, the colors are nice on this one as well as having the metal figures. This PBJ (Peanut Butter and Jelly?) version is alot nicer than the Black 310 with it's horrible stinger setup!

Cool Re: Pics: Corgi Flight Line B-25

This is definitely my favorite B25. I don't have a B25 yet but would go for this one if the opportunity arose. Yes, there are other good ones but the figures add something for me. I also like the scheme. Unhappiliy haven't come across the FOV B25 here yet.

I have this one and love it except for one thing that makes me crazy...CORGI forgot to paint the prop tips yellow!

That sounds easy enough for me to even do. Do you have pictures of the real deal?

Re: Pics: Corgi Flight Line B-25

Well it depends. Alot of the aircraft in the Pacific didn't always have the yellow tips. If it wore off, then it wore off.

Re: Pics: Corgi Flight Line B-25

So should this one have the yellow prop tips then? It would look nicer.

Re: Pics: Corgi Flight Line B-25

My neighbor was in a PBJ outfit, and he had picture f PBJ's during the war. he gave me a good bit of them, and in the pics they do not have yellow tips on some of them.

Re: Pics: Corgi Flight Line B-25

I've almost pulled the trigger and picked this bird up a couple of times. I love the blue naval scheme. Unfortunately the nose art leaves alot to be desired to these eyes. I don't know if its authentic, but with all the great schemes done during WWII I would think that Corgi could come up with something a little "sexier"

Anything for a weird life.
