Corgi Phantoms 1:72nd

I bought my father a corgi Phantom the other day and they look pretty good.
He put it next to a F-14 and F-15 and the F-14 looks a little longer...If i remember right the
Phantom has a Length of 63 feet and the F-14 length is at 61.9 feet and the F-15 was at 63.8 feet in length.
Are these Corgi Phantoms really at the 1:72nd scale ?

Re: Corgi Phantoms 1:72nd

Not all Phantoms were created equal...For example, the cannon-equipped F-4E was 63', while versions such as the F-4C and F-4J, with a shorter nose, were a little over 58'....

Re: Corgi Phantoms 1:72nd

Ya i forgot about the F4J being at 58 feet...
I asked my dad since he flew them in the Marines told me the same thing there were a little over 58 feet.
I really wish they work on the pilots in the F4 they look from out of this world.

Re: Corgi Phantoms 1:72nd

Morning. New member, first post. As to the size comparisons, this photo should help. The F15 is huge. Looks like a flying tennis court. It also looks tall due to the height and size of the twin tails. The F4 is long, bent, old and mean.

Talking Re: Corgi Phantoms 1:72nd

Welcome C17Driver. Skunky has it sorted. I have two Corgi Phantoms but really want an E, F or G model in 1/72. The others just sell the Phantom a little short.
