Faulty working range

Anyone else out there repair any of the working range stuff? I have a Spit with faulty under cart ie doesn't work at all. I have checked out the stand and the voltage is applied to the correct pads when the switch is flicked so I conclude the fault is with the AC itself. So basically has anyone undone the screws in the belly adn had a look inside?

Thanks for any help
Taff

Re: Faulty working range

Taff,
I just got the Tuskegee P-51 working range airplane. At first my propeller would not spin so I made sure the airplane was fitting tightly in the cradle to make sure the contacts were making contact. Finally the prop started spinning, but the port bomb will not drop, which is not a big thing for me.

But I do like being able to make the undercarrage extend and retract, so keep working on it. You might want to contact Corgi and see if they can offer any help.

Good Luck

Re: Faulty working range

I like the idea of the working range but I think it still needs some tweaking especially with the issues that you guys brought up. I too had problems with both the 'Tuck' Spit and 'Jersey Jerk' Mustang. On the Spit the prop and landing gear won't operate at the same time and on the Mustang the gear retracts half of the time.
One thing that you've gotta remember is that these planes are not meant to sit on their landing gear. Wish Corgi would reinforce them enough to allow them to.
