Talking Gladiator Ready!

Hi hangar dwellers,
Just got my Gladiator {frist release "Norway"} and I love the detail. What I like is feed back from my brothers in planes.

Man will walk on the moon!

Cool Re: Gladiator Ready!

I haven't got mine, not yet anyway. Ordered one with Princess Elizabeth. I got the first Sea Gladiator and then immediately regretted not getting the first one too. I think they're both great models.

Re: Gladiator Ready!

Try and pick up the Finnish Gladiator with diorama as they seem to be going cheap in most areas. Shipping is a bit expensive with the heavy base(looks like wedding cake icing IMHO). Lose the base to your loft, and you have a superb twin bladed prop and ski wearing Gladiator!!

I have this plane along with the Malta 3 (Faith, Hope, Charity) and I am pleased with all of them.. I will probably be getting rid of the Malta set though as one/two Gladiators is enough for me..

Cool Re: Gladiator Ready!

I've had the Gladiator in my hanger since August 2006. Next to the Swordfish it's my favorite Corgi issue.

Re: Gladiator Ready!

Isn't Russell Crowe from Australia the REAL Gladiator? or was that Victor Mature?

Re: Gladiator Ready!

YYK950,
Hey there.

I LOVE the Corgi Gladiators. I've picked up several, including the Finnish version with the diorama base. It might just be my favorite Corgi mould. (Okay, next to the P-40. )

Anything for a weird life.

Actually, Russell Crowe is a Kiwi - he just lives in Australia!
