Re: CORGI plastered across the bottom

The name on the bottom has never bothered me, but I rarely pick up my planes and look underneath..

Then how do you know if you have a male plane or a female plane? LOL

lanslide, your VERY funny wisecrack kinda reminds me.......Where's Skunky been? If I'm not mistaken, we haven't heard from him for a few days.

Re: CORGI plastered across the bottom

I think he eloped with a local bear (or is that bare?)

Regardless, I'm just about ready to leave to go the Gathering of Mustangs & Legends! Since it IS an airport, I'll see if Skunky maybe coming there on his Honeymoon!

Re: CORGI plastered across the bottom

Never really bothered me to be honest although if it was placed in an obtrusive position then I would be a bit peeved ala P-51B.

Talking of logos and corgi - does anyone remember the old corgi TV servies batmobile with the whole of the bottom of the car with a big embossed batman. Now that's a logo!

Raddger.

Re: CORGI plastered across the bottom

Yeah but those WERE toys with little or no underside detail. These are adult collectibles with LOTS of underside detail.

To be honest, I thought the term Collectible, was just a euphemism to keep from calling them Big Boy Toys.

Actually, I call them toys (and I let everyone I know know that I know that that is what they are [as far as "I's", "know's", and "that's" goes, that's got to be some kind of record]), but when I'm gone, my son can put them on ebay and call them collectables!
