That's the second one of those in the last week that has gone for that. I think the first was like $59 actually. I missed both for something different and also a NF Hurricane for $37 two days ago.

Congrats on a great deal on a nice airplane!

You'll like the Sea Hurricane- especially at that price. For me I just want a P-51 and a 109 and I think I'm done in 1/32. They are nice but just take up too much space to buy too many of them.

I saw those others but the seller was on the east coast and was quoting over $40 in shipping charges to me since I'm in California. Perhaps could have worked something out with him but on the other hand I know these are large and heavy and might have actually required that much to get to me if he was shipping UPS for example. At that price shipping was doubling the cost so I didn't bid.

I have several new models I'd like to buy but I keep spending my money on Ebay deals and sales on older stuff from dealers. There seem to be a lot of them out there right now. Perhaps a sign that the market is soft or that it is saturated with too many models?

UPS just charged me $14 to send a Lancaster to San Diego from MI. USPS wanted $33

I have this bird and really like the scheme and build quality, however I really can't stand the pilot -- I've come close to tearing him out of there with a pair of pliers a couple times and I'm not one to mess with my models.... anyone ever removed a pilot from one of these 1:32 birds? If so, what kind of damage control is needed afterwards....

It is a favorite of mine next to the Park Hurricane. Only have one minor quibble: I don't get why Corgi just pad pintred the gun bay access panel line details on both upper wings instead of just scribing those lines? Otherwise it's a fine rendition of the Sea Hurricane in 1/32nd.
