Re: Flying Mule Exclusive

The FM is holding my Gentile Spitfire because I ordered it at the same time I ordered the Bong P-38! I hope the P-38 gets here soon - the suspense is killing me!

Re: Flying Mule Exclusive

Hey folks,
Since we are all wondering when/if Martin will choose his next batch of Flying Mule exclusives, the question to ask is when will Corgi annouce their Spring/Summer 2007 line-up?

Martin posted pretty specific "rules" which affected the cost of creating an exclusive and the least expensive option is a simple repaint of an existing (Or pre-existing) scheme. Once we see what Corgi announces for their next season we can start speculating what Martin will choose.

I remember asking this question about this same time last year. I believe Corgi announces in Oct. for the following 1st half.

Re: Flying Mule Exclusive

I'm pretty sure they're gonna do a P-51B, and I'm almost certain that Martin has somehow secured the rights to do Gentile's "Shangri-La" as his 3rd exclusive in the Gentile Series.
It wouldn't make any sense for him to do Gentile's relatively obscure and unknown Spitfire and T-bolt unless he had his most famous plane in the works.

I'm hoping this is the case!

Even though I haven't known you that long - I really like the way you think.

Well lets hope so ...
That be a great one to make.
Better be the OD P-51B....I don't really like the silver P-51D war bonds tour "Shangri-La" of Don Gentile.

Maybe it will be a Gemini Exclusive instead

Re: Flying Mule Exclusive

Hey folks,
I'll bet that Gemini is more likely to come out with a Gentile P-51 B long before Corgi gets to it. If they are going to continue to do a model a month they are going to hit all the major aces relatively quickly.
