Have to go with the Halifax B. MKII of 35 Squadron. For some reason I like the earlier Halifax with the turret in the nose,

Yes, I am going to agree with Starman and Cruver -- the Mk ll is my first choice as well and will be purchasing it as soon as it becomes available. I like the shape of the engines, the squareness of the wings and the advance design of the rudders, and of course, the turret in the nose. Considering many of us grew up building a Mk lll from some kit maker, it is very refreshing to see the Mk ll get some prominence. I have always liked the Halifax aesthetically more than the Lancaster, but never thought I'd see a day where both Mk ll and Mk lll variants would be available. I will also 'fight it out' with you guys to get a copy of 'Friday the 13th' as well in 2008.

This is a great time for those who admire the Halifax!

Can we change this to a multiple pick poll - Depending on the finished product and price I intent to get a least 3 of these birds.

Ooops!

I will be getting at least two of these - the first one out, and also Ft13. However, if I was forced to choose just one, it would probably be Friday. Fortunately, no one is going to force me to make such a decision ;-)

I voted for the Cyril Barton aircraft but I've also ordered the Merlin engined 35 Squadron Halifax. Bring them on!!

Yes, I did too! But I get one of the "freebie" ones from Corgi from sending in my 6 blue tokens...some "all silver" scheme, which sucks.
