Re: Corgi Haifax which one are you getting ....POLL

The more I look at the red Halifax (Berlin Airlift), the more I like it, as I do the RCAF Rescue Lancaster - true examples of "swords into ploughshares" . (Not that there is anything wrong with 'swords' mind you .)

(Starman, feel free to remove my vote for Friday the 13th and allocate it to the red Halifax contender.)

I voted for Friday 13th as well, but if it is to be a composite scheme, I will NOT be buying it. Will maybe purchase AA37201 instead, or wait and hope Corgi's collective brain cells realign and they make eventually a Friday 13th in WWII scheme.

The proto shots on the Tricatus site indicates a FULL version of Ft13th. I may likely get this one, but I am very eager to get AA37201 first!

ADDITIONAL: If Corgi does do Ft13th as a composite only, I too will not be purchasing it. --JPN

I ordered AA37201 yesterday, it's the front turret. Love it!

Can we try with real bullets now?

Pretty much my reason too! Those cool inline engines also help.

I plan to get all three RAF versions, the Halifax is my favourite aircraft. I've no idea where I will put them, but something will have to be put back in a box. I lke the Halton too, but it just doesn't fit in with my collecting.

Re: Corgi Haifax which one are you getting ....POLL

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I really would like the Trenton Halifax (NA 337) over all others offered. Since that isn't going to happen anytime soon, I will console myself with the Mk ll version and perhaps Ft13th (assuming it doesn't carry its current composite markings -- for me that would be a deal breaker).
