Lockheed F-4 (Lightning) Photo Recon

Picked up this beauty today although it was not on my list as I have 'Marge' and the Olds aircraft. Tim's pre pros on his site demonstrate exactly the aircraft; the under nose and side cameras, low profile engine nacelles, and silver superchargers. A worthy addition for all the Lightning lovers out there IMHO.

Hey there. Is this the droop snoot, or the British photo recon release? I thought that wasn't due out until later this year? (Wouldn't be the first time I was s step behind...)

I'm pretty sure Shamrock is talking about the RAAF Photo Recon one, it was due out before the PR Mossie which has already been around a month or so now.

Sorry guys, I should have been clearer in my description of the aircraft. It is of course the RAAF model that just made me want to buy it as opposed to really needing it. As it happened I had a spare slot in my Pacific/CBI themed three shelf (and growing) area. PWC (purchase with confidence)

I'm a bit of a 'Luddite' when it comes to cameras and posting DJ. Lev has a nice photo which gives a good idea of the aircraft posted on his site tonight in the new release section.

Thanks DJ. We have along weekend with Monday off work this side of the pond. Picked up 'Daring Dottie III' P-47 & Jaguar GR3 41 Sqd 1/2 price this week. Result!! Also got IXO Blackburn Skua'. Not the greatest model in the world but who else is going to do it. Scarcity of new releases lately. Either a feast or a famine!
