The price turned me off also, I suffer in silence.

It's a nice looking model but I'm on the price bandwagon...

Re: Lockheed Constellation - Trans Canada AA35106

I recently added this one to my collection. I think it looks much better than the pre - release photos.

Dan

I have to agree with you 100%. Your shots of this connie in this livery sure make the model look even more elegant. If I was into this aircraft I may have turned heaven and earth to get one after seeing your shots. I did briefly consider it, but I noticed Modellers Choice in Hamilton didn't have these listed on their site. The Bristol Britannia is my 'civil av-fave', so when the Canadian Pacific one came out, I immediately bought 2! (I badgered Corgi U.K. about doing this model for about 3 years -- I suspect I got through!) Interesting that they did CF-CZA, the 998 Dinky model from the late 50s, yet they applied the rarely modeled 1961 CPA livery. Very nice touch. I actually got to fly on CF-CZA as a kid in 1963. That was a stone-groove for me, as I had (and still have) the Dinky model.

Display that striking connie with pride -- it's now a rare 'keeper'! Great photos!
