release dates

Has anyone noticed that TFM changed the release dates of a whole bunch of 2007 Corgi releases?

Am I in a dream, or have these release dates been moved up (and not back, like usual)?

Good question, larz. I haven't kept up with Corgi dates lately, except for the 927th Lam Son Mig-21, and that looks to be on schedule (keeping my fingers crossed). Anybody hear any news on this particular bird? Did I read somewhere that Hobby Master, or Corgi, or somebody, cut this one off at the knees?

It isn't faith that makes good science, Mr. Klaatu, it's curiosity. Sit down, please. There are several thousand questions I'd like to ask you.

Re: release dates

Larz,
Diecast release dates are always in flux. The best way to deal with it is to believe it once you see it. Otherwise you'll make yourself crazy trying to figure thing out.

Anything for a weird life.

Re: release dates

They not only changed release date, but they cancelled the checkered 190 (US34311). Crazy. It was the one I was REALLY looking forward to.

Re: release dates

Yeah, I just noticed on another well known online seller's site he has the following listed as being canceled by corgi:

A-10 peanut scheme, B-17 "General Ike" w/crew, F-86 Gabreski, FW-190 Checker, He-111 w/crew, P-38 Watkins 49th FG, P-40 Landers, P-47 Gabreski, P-51 Dday Goodson, Spitfire Gabreski, and Ju-87 J9+IH.

Probably would of been better to give the stock number, but oh well. Actually, aside from the P-51 Dday, I'm fine with all of those cancellations. Better schemes they definitley left in there, thank goodness. I wonder if they did some of the cancellations knowing other manufacturers have already covered some of these schemes (A-10 peanute - hobbymaster, P-40 landers - GMP, Spitfire Gabreski - Gemini). IF it was that, I think it's a very smart move by corgi.

Re: release dates

Was looking forward to the Landers P-40 and the FW190. TFM also has the CC Lanc missing as well. That was another on my target list, all though I would have probably waited for that.

Still if those dates are accurate then it looks like a lot will arrive this month.

Has anyone got a definitive list from Corgi about what has gone got good?

Ooops!
