Spinnaker, I'm confused. In the previous post, you 'quoted" me as saying:

I NEVER said that! I don't have any complaints about the Mule, and the time it takes really does not bother me, but I NEVER stated the delivery time is outstanding. I'm assuming some sort of error occured when you went to "quote" someone.

We've learned that shipping times are partially a function of how close your post office is to a major international route network. Being located near large international airports like LAX, DFW, ORD can help speed delivery for US and international shipments. When we first opened our store, we found out that each USPS post office has an individual collection network that affects shipping times. From talking to the workers there, we learned that one post office's packages went from their location direct to the DFW facility for distribution. While another post office's (that was located less than 3 mi away) packages, were first collected on the Fort Worth, TX side and then distributed according to destination which could include DFW. What we learned was that location of drop-off alone could affect delivery times by a day or two.

Take Care,
Jeff

Re: Favorite online stores

Hi Capn Eddie, I'm a bit confused too. I thought I was quoting a post by 11SQDLDR, who said that deliveries from Flying Mule were outstanding. He'd quoted you in the same post, so I guess there was some confusion about who said what ;-)

regarding On Mark Internation, does anyone know if this is a secure site? I went thru the checkout procedure and never saw any indication that the site is secure for credit card purchases

Re: Favorite online stores

Burbanks House of Hobbies usually has some great sales on specific airplanes.

Aikens Airplanes has excellent customer service.

But, my best purchases have been from the guys on this site. Check out the Classifieds Section in the Forum and you might just find a really good or even a great deal on some purchases. Since I have been a member of this forum, I think I have bought 15 planes from these guys, and never a problem.

The last time I bought from Aikens that nice lady included some candy. Now, that's customer service!
