Unhappy B-17 The Zoot Suiters

I just recieved The Zoot Suiters making this my 9th B-17. Corgi lists it as a B-17F but, the more I look at it , it's a B-17G with out the chin turret from the nose glazing to the tail gunner,

1) It is missing the two foward guns in the glazing.

2) The navigators guns are in the position as a G model instead of an F

3) The upper turret is a later model turret.

4) The waist gunner positions are offset , where the F model where across from each other.

5) and It has the Cheyenne tail gun.

I have only been able to find pictures of the nose art and one plate of the plane itself: http://www.markstyling.com/3ad_b17s1.htm

I hope someone can show that Corgi did it right, I compared this to the other B-17's I have.

Re: B-17 The Zoot Suiters

I'd just assume Corgi cut some corners and it's wrong LzyBns. Hope you got it cheap!

Re: B-17 The Zoot Suiters

One almost starts to think that it has something to do with the people responsible for the sights & sounds series....
The lancaster (AA32611) has the wrong upper turret (just like the 419 sqn version, which has the kind of turret they've added to the restored lancaster).
